Something was wrong here. Something was completely wrong. Lil was beginning to worry Carrie. So she waited, biding her times.

And then, as the movie ended, she turned and pounced, pinning her love to the floor.

"What?"

Lil stares up at Carrie, more than a bit confused.

"What, what?"

"Well, you haven't been up to see Gabe. You haven't gone out and tore shit up. And I know you, Lil, somethings bothering you."

Leaning down, kissing along her girlfriend's shoulder. "What's the matter?"

"I've been up to see Gabe, for a bit. The other day when you and Jason were talking." Okay, so 'a bit' meant that she talked with him about something like the weather for about ten minutes, but she did see him.

"Just... stupid shit."

Sighing, moving up to kiss along Lil's throat. "Don't stupid shit me, Angelwings. What's the matter."

Leaning back, she arched a brow. "Not me and Jason, is it?"

Lil shakes her head, biting her lip. "No, it's not that."

She sits up, curling up against Carrie. "Saw and heard something in the nexus, and it just has me worrying."

Cuddling her love closer, stroking all that sweet hair. "What did you hear?" Worried now, ready to kick someone's ass.

"Promise not to freak out?" Yes, Lil wanted that promise. The last thing she needed was Carrie heading for the gun room, ready to take out people.

"I promise I will not freak out." Solemn. If she promised it to Lil? It happened.

Lil shifts, moving away just a bit and turning to face Carrie. "Okay, I was in the nexus one day, and there was this girl asking about boys and I was gonna offer some advice, but then I caught her scent. It was Suzy, like, seventeen or something. And then this boy came up to talk to her and she got all happy and shit and well, hesmelledlikeyouandJason."

Well guns was not her first thought. Checking her goddamn birthcontrol pills was. Freezing, eyes wide like a deer in headlights.

"I breed?"

Lil nods, trying not to smile. "Yep, he was cute to."

She frowns, suddenly remembering the other part. "You do, anyway. With Jason. And apparently Gabe was okay with it, since he was talking about his 'other' dad."

She was quick enough to catch that. "And no you mentioned, Angelwings?"

Lil shrugs, trying not to look as hurt as she felt. "Nope. No Lil mentioned. Just mom and dad and other dad. I kinda disappeared after the first few people starting talking to him."

She smiles, even though she doesn't feel like it. "He was definately your kid, though. Definate scent of fresh gun powder."

Kissing Lil soundly, gathering her lover closer and sighing. "Baby, no. It won't happen. Even if I ever have a child with Jason? You come first."

She paused, thinking on her words.

"Lil? Will you marry me? I don't have a ring and all. But I can get one."

All Lil can do is blink. Because really, she totally wasn't expecting this.

Hell, Lil never expects this.

"Um, broke you out of jail, brought you to Wonderland and you didn't freak out. You didn't dump me for Gabe. I think the only appropriate answer is yes."
