I can't say that this show was something I was really excited about, honestly. But my friend's insistance made me give her my last money in order to buy tickets, Anyway, I was waiting for the show to come, because Enrique was a kind of contribution to my childhood, when I was 13 and had OFFICIAL CDs. :D Appreciate this, as long as nowadays the only source of music is piratebay.com! :D
So, finally yesterday the day X came! We were unfortunate to be busy with some everyday stuff, so we came to Arena Riga in half past seven and found out that all the free space in front of the stage was crowded as hell. No matter how hard we may try, we were unsuccessful to move any closer than the third row :D
As it usually happens, Esmee Denters was late and started singing when we were already annoyed with standing in the sweaty crowd. However, Esmee appeared to be quite a nice girl with a nice voice and, I believe, good future prospects. Anyway, maybe someday I will even download her first album via the already mantioned piratebay.com :D
When Esmee left the stage there was a completely stupid half an hour long break ,and it was almost impossible to stand among the crazy fans waiting for the hero of the night. However, we were awarded for our patience when finally the lights were on and HE appeared on the stage. I was not disappointed for he was as sweet as I had imagined him to be, really. :P The first song was "Can you hear me" and the crowd went absolutely crazy singing and jumping all around. I could not stay aside of this crazy energy so I almost lost my voice by the end of the very first song. :D
I am actually full of emotions still and I must admit that there are very few coherent ideas in my mind :D Enrique did a great job, his live singing is AWESOME without any exaggeration and he is ohmygodsosweet :D He took one married couple on the stage and they seemed to be so shocked, they could not believe they could reach out and touch Enrique. :) The only remark I can make - stupid people, how can they refuse to drink with Enrique on the stage, huh? :D I would not even think or doubt twice, Jesus! For the perfomance of "Hero" Enrique picked up a girl in the fan-zone, but I believe he was a little bit perplexed when he found out she was only 13 years old :D However, the singing of this highly romantic song was not spoilt; moreover, the tears of the girl were so sweet and I believe she is still SO HAPPY :D The second remark of mine - I wouldn't cry definitely, I think I would use my chance to be on the stage near Enrique :D At least I'd hug him and take a photo :D
So, I am amused, pleased, full of positive emotions and impressions. He sang all the most popular songs, including "Be with you", "Bailamos", "Rhythm Divine", "Do you know", "Tired of being sorry", "Takin' back my love", "Ring my bells"..
The overall impression is as follows - ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!
For those who are still waiting for Enrique to perform I can say - he is definitely worth waiting for. :D
