1. I have qualms re: image sharing sites because
it's borderline art theft.
2. I can't help browsing pictures there anyway. (Lame-yet-true excuse: Pixiv is sloooooow going. Am slowly browsing the Chuugoku tag there but it's not v. browsing-friendly =S)
3. I can't help wanting to translate some of the doujinshi I found.
4. 99% of the time, the doujinshika is not identified, so I can't ask for permission before translating.
and so:
5. I'm deleting all my ninja translations from the above-mentioned image-sharing site and
posting them on LJ instead.
MOAR comments:
A. Please DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY to my translation posts. Link to
the ninja translation tag, if you want. If anyone link to specific posts, esp. on image-sharing sites, I'll lock down those posts. Just humor me. Thank you.
B. If an artist comments/PMs me to take down my translation of their work(s), I'll delete those specific translation post(s).
C. If you know which artist drew the doujinshi I translate, please inform me and I'll retroactively ask for their permission to keep my translation post(s) public ^^;;
P.S. Am currently taking Third Year Intensive Japanese, if anyone's wondering about my Japanese-fu.
ETA 10:23 p.m.: Hopefully this warning is superfluous, but if there's any wank-y comments, I'll lock down the translation posts.
