writing_game pimp & comment h0ring

1. New chess board trial run at writing_game.
Please do give it a looksee, if only to tell me that the rules are too confusing ^^;;

My last writing_game pimp was two years & two months ago, so here goes:
On days when your muse is hiding, try out writing_game!
Pick a fandom (or choose to write original), select a prompt or two or three, write a 50-200 words fic snippet, earn points, then move forward on the board.

writing_game is especially ideal if you:
a) are trying out new fandoms, new characters or new pairings.
b) have the attention span of a flitting butterfly (like me)

It's low pressure, and if you're not particularly proud of what you wrote, just don't post it elsewhere ;-)

Come and join the fun! =)

Again, this is the trial run for the chess board. If you want to wait for a different board (probably in 3-4 weeks), I promise that they’re not as complicated. benebu (or a fellow writing_game member) can clarify any questions you have.

2 a. Here’s the proper link to nataliny1's Russian translation of my drabble:
In the Middle (Arthur/Merlin/Lancelot, shades of OT5, PG-13, 150 words)

2 b. Maybe it’s a factor of it being 4 a.m. over here, but I like the above drabble upon rereading it.
I try to only beg for comments once a year, so here’s my annual begging for comments. (Am usually content with two comments per drabble, but this one has zero comments while the translation has 16 different readers commenting. Even a smiley face or a ♥ would be appreciated. <3)

/end h0ring for comments. For 2010, at least.

3. Almost never read my f-list these days, but if you want to direct me to certain posts of yours, I really do appreciate it. *hugs*
