Stop the whitewashing of Akira
What the hell is wrong with Hollywood?
Seriously?
I"m not even all that much into either manga or anime, but even I know that Akira stars an Asian character and should when turned into a movie, star an Asian actor. Warner Bros apparently thinks otherwise.
All eight actors considered to play the lead part so far are white?
I mean, didn't they learn from Avatar: the last airbender that fans won't stand for it?
And from what this site says, the same is about to happen to two other anime or manga franchises.
