I actually did stop, poor thing was still alive, but I couldn't take it with me on my bike. Didn't have anything to put it in, to take it to a vet with me. that's the worst part, knowing it was still alive and I had to leave it behind and all I could do, was put it to the side of the road, to make sure it wouldn't get hit again.
