Ok, helllllo. The jet lag is really crazy, tonight at pat's house we napped for 2 hours from like 7-9....and then around midnight I'm starving and wide awake....since china is 12 hours ahead of the US, it's crazy getting back into the swing of things. I have made my college decision... St. Michael's HERE I COME! emma goes there so it'll be fun seeing her there. I plan on majoring in music and minoring in business, or majoring in business and minoring in music...who knows.... whichever works out better for me :-). I am having reverse culture shock...it's insane. China was simply amazing. Everything, I even liked the food. Towards the end we were craving pizza and milk...or shall I say I was craving it hahaha. I got close to a few of the girls, more so than I alraedy was. Kate and Jessie especially, and devan cooke. I love those girls. The farewell banquet in Hohhot, was so emotional. The day before at our final dress rehersal cory and I were walking to a little market to get some food, and we were both in such denial about the whole thing. We were like "yeah we're not going to be upset when we leave this group of kids..we won't cry" then at the banquet one of the mongolian girls sang a song and it set me off along with kate and jessie and mostly everyone! There was this overwhelming sadness. Itwas like "we may never see these people again" many tears were shed and songs were sung. We were singing Stand by Me and everyuone was balling becasue the lyrics to the song go "...no I won't cry, no I won't no I won't cry....." and etc etc etc. It was definitely worth it. and I hope I'll get to see my friends in the fall when they get sent to VT for 3 weeks. Oh man the craziest thing happened, on our last night in China we were back in Beijing...and a bunch of us were headed out to go to the DVD store..and in the lobby was a group of students from bratlleboro! NOEL WAS TEHRE! i was talking to jenna hamilton about how weird it was that we were both here at the same time and I hear my name and i turn and it's NOEL! big hugs! last time we hung out with him was new years eve. It was such a coincidence. mannn. everything was so memorable, I want to go back for the 2008 olympics...I hope I can accomplish it. Today we had a performance for the elementary kisd, tomorrow night we ha ve a performance for the public at school...then monday we have a performance for the whole school, during school. It'll be great fun. :-). performing is my zen, I hope I can do it forever. Ok it;s 1am and I"m not tired, maybe I'll go make food and watch a dvd hmmmmmmmmmm. laterssssss
