On Wednesday
It begins week 10 =D
(S)he will be about 1 and a quarter to 1.5 inches long . . . about the size of a small plum. The fingers and toes are no longer webbed. The nails are beginning to grow. The tail is completely gone. The body is beginning to grow its peach fuzz. (S)he is swallowing fluid and his/her vital organs (kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver) are now placed and beginning to function.
Johnny and I chose names a couple weeks ago to get it over and done with. Otherwise, that's just a question left unanswered way too long for me to handle.
If it's a boy his name is going to be Jackson Dean. (Nickname "JD" . . . it's what his dad's grandpa used to go by.)
If it's a girl her name is going to be Evelyn Raylee. (Nickname "Evie" . . . and we both happen to have grandmother's named Evelyn.)
Dean is his family middle name (he's a John Dean Scribner the Second.)
Raylee is my parents middle names put together. (I wanted family names in there somewhere no matter what. I've always planned on using my dad's if it were a boy, but Johnny's family tradition took first place in that draw. This way it's still in there somewhere, and now Mom is a part of it as well. =D )
Next apt: August 30th. (I'll be about 12 weeks at that point.) Nanna Rickerd's birthday, even! She was actually excited for it to be on the same day. It was quite cute. =)
