i get to go to work tomorrow :) i'm excited. last week when i was there i honest to god got a call from a lady who was so upset with me she couldn't even talk. her big complaint was about terrorism, which is understandable. she was so concerned about walking over a bridge and having a terrorist bomb it. she wanted to know if there was a government program that would cover her medical expenses if she got blown up on a bridge. she started yelling at me when i told her there wans't one. "what do you mean? we pay all these taxes and they can't even pay for us if the bridge we're standing on blows up?!"
"no ma'am bc there isn't a government program designed to do that yet. Because you arent paying for it, it doesn't exist"
she got so pissed she hung up. haha the joys of working for congressman upton.
then there was another old woman who called. she was upset because the police and fbi called her senile. she was all like " where can i go if i have a problem." well lets see "what kind of problem are you having ma'am"
"oh no i cant tell you"
"well unless you tell me what the problem is i can't help you"
she was like "well the police dont believe me because i'm old. they called me senile and hung up the phone" which at that point i was just about to do.
