First night & Crow II picspam

Aug 19, 2007 00:20

First night at the new place and I feel fiiiiiine.

One of my new roommates is already here so I got to meet her quicker than I'd thought. Her name is Reetta and she's studying her last year in the same place I am. Her programme was somekind of management thing? Either way, she was nice.

I'm really tired by now. We ran all across town looking for a mirror, a lamp, a water boiler etc. for the place. We also got up early to get my stuff to the appartment. This still isn't close but I'm not missing much anymore. My TV remote is missing though, which keeps me from doing... well... anything. PS2 runs on a channel you can't pick from the TV itself. EH's sending it soonish though.

Anyway. I'm gonna proceed picspamming you with Crow II: City of Angels. It's a movie most only have two labels for: 'so bad it's good' & 'guilty pleasure'. Note that the spam contains spoilers for the plot. Note that this happens to be one of my favourite films and my rants include some amount of fangirlism. *rolls eyes*

Who sleeps like that? I mean, she has all her clothes on and she's all twitchy. The cat is funny though.

Ashe's face in the dark. Pretttyyyy...

Always thought she had pretty eyes. ♥

Even her groggy face is adorable. I love the whole shower scene.

And Ashe again - lurking in the back of her mind. Fate is a cruel thing.

Always reminds me of The 69 Eyes' song "Gothic Girl". I love the way Mia looks in this movie.

Happiness comes in the past tense in this movie. Poor Ashe.

Yes, coming back to life underwater can be traumatic and painful. I never wanna try that one out.

Jesus is back. ^^'

Motherfucking Miramax, why'd ya edit most of the romance out of this movie, huh, huh? Can't you see how fucking beautiful it was?!

And he startles awake. I'd like to wake up like that. Certainly beats the watery grave.

Such a gritty scene. She tries to console him and he doesn't let her. I really wish we'd have gotten to see her stab him, but nooo... Curse you Miramax.

She's so beautiful.

Now he lets her touch him. See how gentle she is despite everything? I mean, he is a corpse after all. I always thought she fell in love with him because of Eric, not as much about Ashe. Sad, but expains her immediate fascination.

I love the paint scene. It's just so sensitive, it tells more than most dialogue in this horrid movie. Pretty. Shiny. Effulgent.

I honestly think Ashe's crow make-up is superior to Movie!Eric's. Then again I kinda like Ashe more than Movie!Eric in general too so no wonder. Nothing beats the comic though.

And now he's badass enough to embrace his new mission. Meh.

I love his expressions. This one's teh pretty. So... raunchy?

Boo. Here comes the boogieman. So hott.

This one's neutral. Why'd I pick this one? Nevermind.

Resist those innocent eyes? No my friend, you can't.

Look, he has pretty eyes too. Definitely emotional. The man can act with his eyes.

Love her artistic aspirations. The painting is one of the best interesting things in this movie... did that make any sense?

The tiger crouches... approaching its prey... I'm sad aren't I?

Alone together. I even iconed this one. I love the position. How they face the opposite directions, how the shy is present in their stand.

Oh how my poor heart aches.

He looks like a wet lost puppy. I'd adopt him, corpse or not.

Read the one above. Repeat with more feeling.

I'll put a spell on you. I will...

Pretty. Pretty. Pretty.

You will fall in love with me. You will. You will.

You hurt her and you will DIE. No wait, was this about Dannyyyyy again?

Neat trick.

He's hurt. Bordering psychotic. I love his lil fit of rage after this one. The Kali fight is the best fight in the whole movie.

Nothing personal. You just killed my son and kidnapped my girlfriend and KISSED me you sick fuck! You're so dying.

He's possessed. By a demon. A horny demon. Seriously wicked smile.

Life's painful when you kill people...

I dunno why, but that's just 'grrrwwww'

She accepts the pain. She lets him mark her with death. Why, why, why? Sarah...

Are those eyes despaired or hating? Considering she's looking at Judah, I'd say both.

I'm just a sick fan, but dude! Collar! Who doesn't love collars (after The Cell)?!

I could eat her eyes... or maybe not. More like... stare into them?

Defeat gives reason for pensive thoughts. Don't worry. Ashe isn't dead yet.

Yes, I give up the chance to reunite with my son because I fell in love with a live human woman while avenging him. Sorry kid, daddy got lucky.

This isn't the way it happens in my movie (the non Miramax cut I keep dreaming about). He doesn't choose Danny. He doesn't! Doesn't!

Was the collar uncomfortable? Don't take it off! Pleeeease?

He laughs in the face of death/danger. Gotta love the attitude.

Hanging by the neck isn't nice, eh?

Nuuuu! Why did you have to run into that knife? You suicidal lil goth girl. He picked you!

Dying really hurts like a bitch they say. Hurts me too. A lot.

Don't die. Stay with him. I know he's a corpse and you're alive, but necrophilia isn't all evil!

But her eyes grew still... and she grew cold.

Yes, she died for you. Now you'll wander the world alone as a zombie till the end of time for picking her (not in the uber-happy Miramax cut - duh).

She painted her own death. Why, how? Does she really become a crow herself in some version (book?). Me sad now.
