Pushing Daisies was just lovely. It's like Tim Burton's visual eye meeting with Amelie's narrating (they even play the same song the movie did in one scene!). The characters are lovely, the premise is whacky and heartwarming, the cast is good, it seems fresh amid all the pilots I've watched in the last week AND is it any wonder with this being written by Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Heroes, Wonderfalls)? The man has a talent, seriously. I recommend ♥ ♥ View

New Amsterdam and Flash I haven't seen yet but both have been getting bad (or non-inspiring) reviews all over. I don't think I'll even watch Moonlight... okay I might, but I'm not as positive as I once was.
On other news, I'm at home, it's my second day of vacation. I've just been relaxing, watching pilots, writing & making graphics. I fully plan on beginning to make a 10th Kingdom mood theme someday soon.
The series (10th Kingdom) needs love. It's another I recommend to everyone liking classic fairytales like Snow White, Cinderella & Little Red Ridinghood. It's almost hysterically fun. I've watched from DVD like 4 times a row in the few years we've had it and it's always as fun and witty as it was the first time around. Syrai knows what I'm talking about. We also watched it together from one seating (7 long hours for her).
I know I always start living at my LJ when vacation starts, but don't worry, I'll vanish when school starts again ;)))
