ahh ya so i saw them on friday and they kicked ass! i got my tix when i got down there. i had the side stage front row. they had platforms on the side so they were really close when they came over. i scored a sweet spot a 1/2 block away from the venue too. very happy i didnt have to pay fucking 20 parking garage scam. heres the setlist from dd.com im just lazy:

the boys all looked good too. they are in thier mid 40's. my fav of the night i think was either "careless memories" or "i want you more". thier guitarist andy taylor wasnt at the show bc his father just died last week and he was at the funeral. so on of thier friends filled in and he was really cute too. duran duran are one of only a handful of bands that can be performers and entertainers. they are coming around in the summer again and im def going again. i went by myself but i didnt care i still had fun. i was fun watching the woman still freak out over them too hahah.
ok anyways so im working mega hours this weekend. im working doubles tues,thurs,friday. then working sat morning too. so i should have 50+ easy. gots to get saving for the alanis.
i wanted buy my tix for the killers yesterday for the prov show but no it had to fucking sell out. so ill have to watch everday to see if they re-release.
yesterday i went to go to see spitalfield/straylight run and jeremy wanted to go. so i checked for tixs and they were sold out. so i thought maybe if we went down there we could get a tix for him. nope. so i sold my tixs and we went home. i made a profit so it was all good. oh ya i wanted to by spitalfields new cd so i found mark (the singer) and i told him what was going on and he got me thier cd and sold it to me for 5 bucks! it was a steal and he told me to "scalp that ticket real good!" haha what a freak. ill see them again. they come around a lot so i wasnt that mad about missing them. i think they were only playing like 4 songs bc there were so many bands on the bill.
