Good Weekend

Well, I'm at Purdue right now. Going back to school tomrrow morning! I had a good weekend. Even though Purdue lost againg this weekend, I figure there is still some hope. Aaron is working on a project so I am sitting at the computer doing much of nothing. Well I am typing this, so I guess I am doing something.

Got here Friday evening around 5pm and went to eat when I arrived. Then a little later we went to a friends apartment to party. We were there quite a while and having a good time. Someone knocked on the door (meaning more than likely it was someone that is not a frequent visitor) It wasn't, in fact it was our good 'ol officer friendly from elementary school. After a little bit of pounding on the door someone finally let him in after we had all gone and hid. Brad played it off nicely and after a few bottles that had to be emptied everything was alright and we were all pretty lucky. Hey it happens! The party ended after that and we headed back to our place of retirement for the night. All in all though it was a good time.

Saturday Aaron's Dad and Uncle came up for the game. We met them ate some lunch then went to the game. Like I said before the game was an upset and we left the stadium with that feeling in the pit of our stomachs (alright so it wasnt that big of a deal.) When we got back we started watching the World Series game. Cardinals all the way baby! Hey there are still 6 games left and a lot can happen in that time! We eventually went to Wes's apartment and Saturday night we just sat around and talked. Those are the good times.

Today we went and saw Friday Night Lights. I must say it is a very good movie. I should say that you must go see it. Just like Remember the titans it had the potential to be a football tear jerker. I could have cried if I really wanted to. My eyes got a little teary. Now I am sitting at the library waiting for Aaron to get finished with his project, then I think I am going to get myself some Jimmy Johns.

I'll head back to school tomorrow and find plenty of stuff to occupy myself. It seems like my EDEL prof has plenty for me to do after my observation tomorrow. It stinks though cause I don't even need that class anymore. I must say I cannot wait until next spring when I get to start all of my new classes for Social Work. The more I think about it the more excited that I become. These classes just seem so interesting. I cannot wait.

Alright I think I am going to stop there for now, this is getting quite long. I don't want to bore you all that read this anymore. Have a good day ya'll! Oh, and a great week too!
