Sorry, Hellz, I haven't had much time/energy to write.
Brief recap:
Last weekend I went to, in order: Takamatsu, Naoshima, Kurashiki, Onomichi, Hiroshima, and Miyajima. Whoooo!
Saturday at 5:30am though Monday at 5:30pm. That's how I roll!
But seriously, I'm still fucking tired.
It was fun, FB for pics, and i got to see a lot of western Japan. Oh Man!
The bus ride to Takamatsu was beautiful. Valleys... Rivers... Forests... Ocean... Mountains... Longest suspension bridge in the world... Gotta love Japan!
Next went to Naoshima and if you love art this is the Art Island of Japan! I want to go back for sure. Strange museums and randomly scattered sculptures... good times. They also have a whole area of houses dedictated to being pieces of art... that people live in...
Kurashiki is an old timey sort of place.
Onomichi... GAH! Best Ramen Ever... oh and walking and looking at temples and stuff...
Hiroshima was sad... obviously. But then we had ice cream and momiji manju (little maple leaf shaped cakes).
Last was Miyajima which had an AWESOME orange shrine! But then it rained... a lot... we were soaked, miserable, and left.
