out of the darkness AKA livejournal, i miss you but have no time for you!
So people are always like, what do you DO all day?! This is a typical day for us:
6:15 Eric wakes up and gets ready for work and makes all of us breakfast. He makes me an egg on an English muffin, and he makes himself and Jack eggs with spinach and cheese.
6:30-7:15 Jack wakes up at some point and Eric comes and takes him away from me. I sleep in the bed alone. It is awesome.
7:30 Eric brings Jack back to me and leaves to go to work. I hide under the covers for as long as possible (usually about 30 seconds) before Jack is getting into something.
7:30-8:00 I get dressed and check my email while Jack runs around.
8:00 I make green tea and eat my breakfast while watching something trashy (usually some variation of The Real Housewives). If Jack hasn't eaten yet, he eats now too, or he runs around and plays.
8:30 - 9:30 Playtime, or doing laundry and various other chores
9:30 Jack goes down for his morning nap (takes 10-30 minutes to get him to sleep)
9:30-11:00 I work at my Leapforce job, check all my mystery shop boards looking for jobs, do other Internet things
11:00 Jack is up by now or earlier. We run errands (HEB at least once a week), go do mystery shops, sometimes go on a walk if we have nothing to do.
12:30 Lunchtime. I eat tuna or peanut butter or leftovers. Jack eats various things - sometimes cheese and bread, apples, pears, vegetables, avocado - whatever I scrounge up for him.
1:00 - 3:00 Playtime, maybe go on a walk or run another errand
3:00 Afternoon nap. Usually doesn't take as long to get him down for this one. During this nap I do the dishes, clean up around the house, possibly do more Leapforce work. Sometimes I do nothing and lay on the couch reading magazines.
4:30 Jack is usually up by now and we start making supper.
5:30 Eric comes home from work. I lay on couch while he plays with Jack. Or go work on mystery shopping reports, or finish supper, or go to the gym.
6:30 We all eat supper. Sometimes we watch Wheel of Fortune.
7:00 Go on a walk.
7:30 Low lights playtime/story time/sometimes a bath time.
8:00 Eric puts Jack to bed while I play on the computer.
8:30 - 9:30 Eric and I get to watch tv and spend time together.
9:30 Jack wakes up and I nurse him back to sleep and then sneak out of the bed.
9:40 - 10:30 Evening snack/TV/cleaning up
10:30 Eric and I go to bed
So that is what we do all day. Jack also nurses about 4-5 times throughout the day and I change about 4-5 diapers. Sometimes we see other people and that is fun. Tomorrow we are going to our very first play group so I hope that works out for us as something else to do and other people to interact with.
