(no subject)
After sleeping for most of yesterday, my fever went away. School wasn't too bad today. After final bell I went to Key Club Exec Board meeting and then joined Irish Club. Apparently, Mrs. Martz wants to save some seals. Then I went to Freedman's for my tea, and then Mommy picked me up and I spent an enjoyable afternoon at Grandma's.
For the last few weeks, I have tried to focus my mind away from tomorrow. I figure that there are bigger things going on in the world- Hurricane Relief, volunteer work, family, school, the plight of starving people across the world- that should be getting my attention. Yet I'm still really excited for tomorrow. I'm also afraid to be excited for tomorrow. After the wonderful experience Rumors was, I really want to get into this year's CBA fall play. I'm even just excited for an opportunity to go up there tomorrow and see everybody.
Unfortunately, Retreat Team and Animal Handlers (yes, I kind of want to do that, too) meetings are tomorrow. I already told Mrs. Weber I can't make this Retreat Team meeting, and I guess I won't handle lab animals anytime too soon. (It's rather funny how people come up to me now and ask what the details of the day's announcements were.)
