Locked away in a coffin,
There's no way to stop it.
Sophisticated Dreams and Drama Queens,
Cigarettes, Sex, Alchohol, and Weed.
This is the teenage lullaby of the average day kid,
Hiding in their room and slitting their wrists,
They think they have no place,
They always lose this race.

I wish I could change it, I wish I could stop it,
Your demise is coming- you might as well say fuck it.
Your in a hole that's too damn deep,
Can't you see that you cannot achieve help from me?
I have to play therapist I have to play doctor,
I have to tell you to rebel against your father.
Make your own decisions as I'll make mine,
And what you see isn't far from what you'll find,
A broken home, A teenager alone,
A little boy shaking in his wounded bones.

A damaged soul, an insurance plan,
A baptised baby, thinking they can,
A little kid, confessing their sins,
A big teenager, who will never win.
Life is a game that everyone has lost,
A puzzle, an adventure, it's a road you will cross,
Not many will make it, as none have before you,
What makes you special? People adore you.
