Eurofurence babyfurs and littlefurs meet
People may recall this post earlier in the year from tfbaxxter asking about babyfur badges at Eurofurence, and the subject got on to babyfur meets at Eurofurence too.
Last year there was a meet-up at EF, I wasn't able to go, but a former friend of mine kindly arranged it. He's out of the picture this year but nobody's stepped into the breach, so I would like to try and arrange it this time. Being economic about it, I would like to suggest the same time and place as last year also. They don't publish Eurofurence event schedules in advance, but you can get a fairly good idea from the previous year. The timeslot seems to clash with only the tail end of panels from the day, avoids clashing with dinner and is hopefully in a good spot people can make. The agenda is simply, talk, chat, put faces to names, meet other cubs :)
So! The Ringberg Hotel, Suhl, Germany. Thursday the 27th August 2009. At the largest group of free chairs/tables by the bar, indoors (there is only one main bar). Four pm to seven pm, that's 4pm to 7pm, or 16:00 to 19:00. 27/08/09 16:00-19:00. I'm sticking with the same timeslot as last year but it's unlikely you'll get a crowd beyond the first hour, in my opinion.
The secret signal: Wear your con badge on your wrist. Your official EF con badge. Or carry a plushie at all times as I tend to. But the first is more universal. I cannot promise I will be there, but I will try my hardest to, and I really want to see this meet go ahead, carry things on from last year. See all you cubs there!
