tax time
well this is cool.
in typical fashion, I just filed my taxes. Dan came in this morning and said we could claim our house (so even though we bought it in 09). It was really cool to see such a big number. Last year I owed $26!
Next year we won't be able to claim it, but we will have other things: homestead exemption, property tax credit, etc. So I'm not to worried.

right after I bought the house I saw a finance article about how having an apartment in these times is actually a good thing for a whole bunch of reasons. I began to worry. But this tax things makes me feel good.
