Xmas recap:
Went to boston and had lots of fun. Drank a little too much on xmas eve and got loads of fun gifts: coach gloves, gift certificate to a clothing store (funny story with that one), gift certificate to bed bath and beyond (thanks Jeff! I think I will be buying stuff for our new bathroom), home depot gift certificate (paint and some other house needs), pjs (Deb, I so ripped a hole in one of my pjs 2 days ago, how did you know I would do that?), xmas ornaments.
On the flight back we had a 7 hour layover overnight at DFW. 7 hours to wait for a 30 minute flight! I slept for maybe 2 hours on a cot in the airport. Yay first time expereinces!
Last night went to a pal's house. It was also very fun and I also drank a lot including a shot right before new years which meant i had to stay a bit longer to sober up. I got some decorating and painting tips.
We have packed 15 boxes, we have thrown out at least 10 garbage bags of stuff.
Today, we went with my parents to buy a living room set and dinning room table. The living room sofa, chair, cocktail ottoman and loveseat is a modern dark brown leather. the end tables are made of glass, wood, and polished nickle accents, the lamps are poished nickle as well.

We keep thinking we submitted everything and then we get another piece of paperwork to print sign, and fax. All the paperwork says the 15th for closing. Which would be great since that weekend is a 3 day weekend. We shall see!
so yes, this year should be off to a great start with a new home!
