Is it fate or luck?
I was working on Monday and trying to replace an order that had been cancelled from the web. The customer was very sweet but she wanted the same phone for the price she was supposed to get it at when she orginally ordered. I can understand that completely, but the phone was being offered to her for free at the time and my system was going to make me charge her $100 for the phone. She got kind of upset at me and I told her that I would see if some kind of credit would be issued to her because of our system being dumb. I hung up with her and dialed into the customer care line. When I got through I ended up talking to this really nice guy and we just naturally clicked. While he was looking at her account I asked him which center he worked in. He told me Anaheim Hills. I was like "oh ok, a lot of the time I end up talking to someone in A.H. I'm in Cerritos." Well, turns out he couldn't credit the customer that day because I had just ordered the line of service and he needed to do it today.
So today comes around and I email him to remind him about the credit. (he was nice enough to give it to me.) Well, he started flirting with me and we just naturally hit it off. I gave him my number and he's been texting and calling me all day. He's very sweet and seems like a generally nice guy. So I agreed to go out with him and get this for all you people familiar with southern california. I live in Corona and he ends up living in Ontario which is like 15 minutes from my house. How crazy is that? I though he would have lived somewhere farther away like Irvine or Newport Beach.
So, I'm going out with him on Saturday. He's supposed to be sending me his picture on myspace tonight, so we'll see how cute he is. If he looks the way he sounds, I think I'm going to be in pretty good shape. =)
