I've also heard rumours that they are taking out any and all references to the church... make of that what you will, but obviously Hollywood has NO guts anymore whatsoever...
Also. Nicole Kidman... as Mrs. Coulter... for those who have read the book, need i say more? WTF?
And, most importantly... "The Golden Compass"???? it's not even remotely like a compass... it doesn't really look like one, more like a pocket watch and a compass had a love child...
If you can take the sadness, check out the
film's offical website Now, to something 100% better

Jere Gillis This could possibly be one of the best films to be released in 07. The trailer makes me creme my jeans. The whole film was either shot on blue or green scene, expect one scene with some horses AND (this is for you adam) some of the film was even edited on Linux. the film is basically about 300 Sparterns who go against the Persians in a suicide mission to give the rest of Greece time to raise an army. The film is based on Frank Miller's comic "300" and an actual battle that took place in 480 B.C
From what i've seen from the trailer and an art book (i will be mine!!!) this is going to be a very dark, very gory, very very disturbing film. Lots of blood, lots of dead people, lots of weird mutant armless Persians... and a tree made completely out of dead bodies...
If that's not a reason to go see this film, I don't know what is!
Check out the
trailer xXx
