Quilted Bumble Bees on Attic Stairs Quilt

Mar 26, 2007 09:22

Here's what the quilted bumblebees look like on my Attic Stairs Quilt, which is destined for my sister for her 40th (!) birthday in July.

Don't be too impressed, I didn't do this! I did pick out the pattern and the thread though. Does that count? I think I'm in love with the new Local Long-Arm Quilter I found. She's got a BOOK of designs to choose from, fast service, and this cost 1/2 as much as the other place I'd been using. I couldn't be happier.

I'll be dropping off the Cascade quilt to LLAQ when I've got the back ready. I was going to sew that up yesterday, but other real work things kept intruding. I did make a list most of the rest of my soaping gear to sell on a soaping forum (yay for no eBay fees!). I couldn't deal with the bucket of cute soap molds, so they'll get inventoried and sold later.

Happy Monday, y'all!
