Sewing projects round up: Kid Zip Pouches
Whew! These took a few hours but totally worth it. I may make one for my Pinkie NintendoDS. I kept notes on sizes of things.
For my about to be 11-year-old nephew:
Note the little pockets inside so that he can bring along a few games.
For my about to be 8-year-old niece:
Note: the lining fabric for each zipper pouch is leftover from each of their quilts. I think that'll be a fun surprise for them.
These clip onto purchased denim tote bags, into which the travel pillows fit *perfectly*. Yay!
