A Camping We Will Go!

And did!

Hubby with the wee tent. We've decided when we go camping again we will have a bigger tent.

Here I am loafing around the freshly made camp site.

View from the dock. Lots of folks were fly fishing. Hubby and I dragged our camp chairs out and read out there while watching them fish.

Pretty trees reflected in the water.

Across from the dock.

Hubby poses with the river behind him. Way back there in the background there's a playground for kids and a big old field. There's also a stocked trout pond which has enough frogs in it to sound at night like a B52 starting up.

Me hanging out on the dock.

Watching the boats go by.

Reflected trees.

Vertigo tree. The loblolly pines made a fantastic green canopy for us.

More trees.

Car camping is the only way to go for these old bones. We were set up in 20 minutes. Quite a contrast to our last experience at Ass-fatigue Island.

As usual, Hubby cooked and I showered him with praise and ate. Dinner was hot dogs, corn roasted on the grill and beans (for him).

Cook, Hubby, cook!!!!! Otherwise, it'd be a lot of PBJ sandwiches.

It was a great trip. I've got more pics that I'll post later.
