The Dells
I always want to do a run-down of vacations, but I usually forget stuff. I will just type what I remember!
heh. Drive there was good. Alexander was happy and a bit autistic LOL....I had to open my big mouth and tell him that we would be getting off on exit 92 (2 hours away). He told us every exit number. doh!
We got there and let me just say, Riviera Suites SUCK. If you look on their website, it shows some very nice rooms and stuff. What they don't tell you is that it is a MOTEL. And not a nice one either. Pretty trashy. We ended up staying there for about an hour. Trev said "I'll be honest. I would rather eat the cost for tonight and find somewhere else". I agreed so we hi-tailed it out of there and found a nice hotel for 40 bucks less a night. bleh! Anyhow, we had LOTS of fun at Kalahari. Alexander went down the same slide about 200 times LOL He loved the wave pool and the lazy river too. It was definitely a nice family vacation. He only had a couple times that he got a little antsy, but overall he was great. He even slept well at the hotel. I'm glad my mom was there. SHe was really nice and took him for awhile so Trev and I could watch Colleen and her cheer team (which was GREAT!). I honestly did NOT want to go home yesterday. Much too short. :(
