weekend update
okay, so I had a great weekend! i am still recouping from everything that we did. My cousin, Elizabeth, came to visit for the weekend and we crammed a lot into a little time. We walked down the Magnificent Mile, did a little shopping, saw the watertower, ate Chicago pizza, had drinks in the Hancock building (best view is in the women's restroom), went to Navy Pier (walked around and ate at Bubba Gump's), went to a jazz club, had coffee and listened to street performers, saw the Sear's Tower ($12 to go up in it, no thanks!)...so, i think that about covers everything. In addition to that, we went to bed at 1:00am every night, so I'm still trying to get caught up on sleep. Anyway, it was great to spend time with my cousin and relax. My first weekend without ANY reading for class. What a wonderful thing! That's about it for now. I'm off to do some reading for class then relax a little tonight. I have to stay on top of things though b/c the masses are about to arrive. We have a ridiculous amount of people coming between next week and the end of NOvember. Gotta maintain!!!
