nyama, nyama, nyama (animals)

okay, well again, it's going to have to be short! I'm sorry! Oh there is so much to tell you...we saw almost every animal that there is to see, and so many of them up close. We saw lions, cheetah, elephants, and giraffes - all close enough to reach down and touch. It was truly amazing. I can't even believe it! you won't believe the pictures when you see them. the only animal that we did not get to see was a rhino, but thankfully i saw that 2 weeks ago. Christina wasn't too bummed b/c she just wanted to see lions, leopards, and cheetahs; all of which we were able to see. we sat and watched the cheetahs try to make a kill, which was amazing. and then we watched the lions, hoping they would attempt a kill, but they were just too stinkin' lazy. go figure, big lazy cats! life is good! it truly does not get any better than what we just experienced. we got to camp in the Serengeti!!! how stinkin' cool is that? yeah, unbelieveable. at night we could hear the hyenas and zebras just outside the camp. i think the hyenas came in to eat some of the leftover food. i could hear them right next to our tent. sweet! This time it was real, it wasn't kent!!! now, we have 2 days in Arusha with another missionary couple and then 2 in Nairobi, then it's off to Europe. Hard to believe it's here already! Wow! well, i wish i could give you more details but i only have 15 minutes of internet time left and it just might take that long for this to go through (the internet is going VERY slowly). hopefully i'll have a little more internet time next time, but we'll see. just keep checking. Mom, Dad, Chris, and Grandma I miss you all so much. love you and hopefully we'll get to talk soon. i don't know how soon but i love and miss you. can't wait to get home and see you. i'll have lots of great stories to share! i'll post again soon.
