Grandma is in the hospital. Was supposed to be moved to Maplecrest Nursing Home yesterday. Failed to go due to a stroke. This is her second one in 2 1/2 weeks. They expect at least one more to follow.
I don't want to sound crude or insensitive...but she is going to be 90 years old in July. She is suffering through each and every stroke. Overall, this is her third...and if they expect at least one more.... She has been hallucinating very frequently lately, which makes sense, consdering the amount of stroke she had in such a short time. Also, she hates nursing homes. She's been in them 3 times and I know she wasn't happy. They say that if she is transferred to Maplecrest, that it'll be the last move she makes. I would rather she have a massive stroke and pass with her family there...than to go into Maplecrest and be very unhappy...and still suffer possible strokes until she deteriorates into nothing.
