So I wrote about my experience at the park earlier today. I thought I'd share the song I wrote while I was there with everyone....
"Perfect"
Verse 1
Why don't you take a walk with me
I'll show you the life that I now lead
Take a look to your right do you see the stares
Yeah she just whispered you're a sinner you're going to hell
She grabbed her child and covered her eyes
Heaven forbid she see you and your lover holding hands
Chorus
Are you perfect
Do you not sin
Can you sit and judge me
Talk about my sins
Can you truely say
You can cast that stone
If you're so perfect
Condeem me to fire and brimstone
Verse 2
Now close your eyes and listen carefully
Those are the cries of fellow americans
They've been raped, beaten, and called all kinds of names
Treated and looked upon as second class citizens
Chorus
Are you perfect
Do you not sin
Can you sit and judge me
Talk about my sins
Can you truely say
You can cast that stone
If you're so perfect
Condeem me to fire and brimstone
Verse 3
Now open your eyes tell me what you see
A gun, kife, and a bottle of pills
I see the shock the look in your eyes
I think you finally feel and understand my friend
Do you now see what stupidity does
Tell me who would choose to lead this life
A life were death sometimes seems like the only way out
Chorus
Are you perfect
Do you not sin
Can you sit and judge me
Talk about my sins
Can you truely say
You can cast that stone
If you're so perfect
Condeem me to fire and brimstone
