I guess if I'm gonna have a killer manicure (and I DO mean KILLER - you could disembowel someone with these and hardly notice the change in tint), I ought to learn to walk like a girl. Why, thank you, ma'am. (I seem to have some sort of gentlemanly butch attitude stuck in this - soft femme? untutored female? - body. Of course, that's interspersed with bitch-kill princess... ness. Yeah. Obviously, thinking about gender presentation royally fucks my English skills.)

The nails are fun, though. There's a whole line of nail shops on Irving where you can get an $8 manicure or a mani/pedi for $18. When this polish is ready to be replaced, I think my nails will be long enough for RED. (But there's so many OTHER pretty colors! My toes are blue. ::whine:: I can't decide.) City life is good.

Owch. Yeah, if you can't pull it off, PRACTICE. Or wear flats. I worry about that. I think I can dress for my abilities and strengths. It's expanding those categories that makes me nervous about public scrutiny.
