Just Some Random Thoughts
I abandoned livejournal for facebook, myspace, and life.
I have returned to post some thoughts I've been having. No real reason other than I want to get them written down in some form so I can look back in a year and go "What the hell?"
1) In the Nightmare Before Christmas, what if Jack had gone through another Holiday's door? Like Easter? The easter bunny is pretty freakin' weird. Or Valentine's Day? Cupid with his arrows?
2) A lot of things have shaped the person that I am today - for good or bad. The friends I've had, the friends that I still have, working at Winton Wood's, dating Erik, etc etc. It's just weird to think about how one small experience can shape who a person becomes. Every decision matters, or maybe it doesn't. I don't know.
3) Speaking of friends, I miss a lot of my old friends. :(
4) I understand the appeal of Obama. I disliked both candidates until about a week ago. Obama seems genuine. He inspires hope, and he seems trustworthy. The lack of experience argument is a joke. When people say they want someone with experience, they just really want someone who is capable of good judgement. Obama seems to have this. McCain is scummy anyway. His political ads are absolute trash. Not that I really care that much anymore anyway.
5) People, stop asking me when I'm getting married. I don't know. Why do you care so much?
6) I'm overworked and underpaid. This will change soon.
