okay so went to melbourne today and spent about three hours total in the car with daddy listening to some really good music, sharing ideas, and just having some really meaningful conversations. it was pretty awesome. so i thought i'd share with you what i saw when i was listening to song o magnum mysterium, becuz it's soo beautiful. i'm no kire when it comes to writing lol but i just gotta say this
the song starts out with a very quiet line that comes in, and i see two people sitting in a hospital together, a father and daughter, the father is on the hospital bed and they are just talking quietly. the daughter knows though that her father is not going to live much longer, so the piece progresses like they are talking and this continues until the climax of the piece where she looks into her father's eyes for the last time and sees him looking back at her with all the love he possesses. she knows it's not the last time she will look in those eyes. even though they are full of love and sadness, they are full of hope and joy. he squeezes her hand for the last time. and the song begins to fade away. his grip weakens until it slips from the daughters hand...
okay that really brought me to tears guys cuz i was listening to it while i was writing it and i was definitely thinking about my dad and me the whole time...in case you haven't noticed i'm very emotional when it comes to music...well i have more to say but i'm thinking too much now and i know i can't get all my thoughts out straight so i'm gonna go lol...
