You know live journal, i really appreciate all youve done for me in the past 5 years. youre the only friend that probably hears 100% of the bad and never complains. So this is were i become a hypocrite. I don't know when and why friends of mine have decided that I only like to hear the bad in their lives. as if I'm not constantly plagued with my own problems in life, romance, money, etc..., but i still experience some good days; however, i try to talk about good and bad days as equally as possible depending on the situation. Mostly i choose to not talk about any of it at all. So when I say that i have a hand full of friends that only seek me out to tell me all the bad things in their life I have to wonder what i did to deserve this? You know, just because someone is willing to lend a ear to a friend in need, in a bad situation, does not mean that you cut them out of all the good things in your life. I do enjoy hearing about things that are going well. I'm not the jealous type, I like hearing about what a great time you had. I hope I am stating the obvious when i say that i like hearing the good more than the bad as i'm sure most do.
but oh well, a friend in need is a friend indeed as the saying goes
so the real question does it mean...
someone who needs your help becomes friendly in order to get it
..or hopefully,
someone who helps you when you are in need is a true friend
