U of I
And so my weekend at U of I comes to an end as I sit here waiting for Sarah to come pick me up.
I had oodles of fun! I'm going to list what I did, muah ha!
Friday night, I met up with Alli at ISU and ate dinner! Although I couldn't find her building and it took about ten minutes so we didn't have much time. Booo. Can I come visit for real sometime Alli, especially now that I've got my bike?
Then I rode a super-crowded bus to Champaign and then took a super-crowded city bus to campus. That was gross. It smelled and I had to hold that bar on the top and had many near-falling incidents. Plus I had my huge backpack on which didn't help. And it was hot and humid. But it was WORTH it. Because I saw Emily!!! Yay. So...we went swingdancing for a little bit. That was cute. It was in a dimly lit ballroom and Emily had even found me a partner! Hee. OH and we saw Becca! Cool. Then we did Karaoke and made fools of ourselves. Yay for Aerosmith. Then yummy pizza and chilling.
Saturday was most excellent! Emily and I chilled at Espresso Royale chatting away and I spilled on myself. Then we went THRIFTING and it was great. successful. Although I didn't get that one skirt. Oh well. And then that night was the Pygmalion Festival! I am in love with Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Headlights was ok, and Of Montreal was outrageous! It was fun and crazy! I just danced. And it smelled like marijuana everywhere. And I kinda got accosted by Emily's friend's high floormate. But not really, just kinda. Enough to alarm me a bit.
