Moment of Zen

I was at Border's tonight reading (I am such a loser).  Anyway, I was reading Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, which is this hilarious account of Jesus' life that the Bible sort of leaves out, as told by his best friend, Biff.  I'm reading this in the cafe and sort of eavesdropping on the conversations going on at the tables around me.  Halfway through my time there, this kid sits down, dressed kinda well for book browsing.  Shortly after, a man sits down and they make introductions.  Turns out, the guy was there to conduct this kid's entrance interview to Trinity College.  First, I didn't even know colleges still did entrance interviews!  Then to have that college while I'm sitting there reading a book that's bound like a Bible - oh I was giggling so hard on the inside.  That's it, really.  All I've got going on tonight.

Tomorrow is jam-packed, though.  Birthday party for 1-year-old?  Check.  Booze at the party for us grown-ups?  Check.  Forbidden Broadway at Miami University?  Check.  Cleaning house in preparation for company next weekend?  Check.  Reading so I can start yet another new book?  Check.  It's going to be a busy weekend, people.  Wish me luck.  Also, I'm sadly lacking funds at the moment.  I thought I had way more than I really did...
