let me stress that i'm not, and i mean not saying i told you so at all - but perhaps giving scutterbotch back is not a good idea - depending on where you got him (like the humane socitey) they put your name on a list and never let you get another animal again. you have to give yourself time to get adjusted. cats are very independent creatures, it's not like having a puppy. he's probably better adjusted that you are about his new living situation. and whatever schedule you have, he will adjust to. and if you feel like you are going to be neglecting him by not getting up early enough to feed him, then feed him at night before bed, and get him one of those self dispensing water thingys (they might have it for food too, i'm not sure).

each semester you get a new schedule and that takes time to get used to - so will owning a cat.

if you want your mom to be right - then give him back!

oh yeah. and i'm not going to be home between italy and vegas. my mom is coming here for a week or so, and then school starts aug 29 and i go back to work aug 15th. speaking of mom, she finally left scott!! she moved into a lake cottage at timberlake. intersting huh!

peace and love.

call me this weekend, or i'll call you - my semester is over on thursday. and i'd like to talk to you before i leave for europe.
