just got home from my brother's jazz band recital at the high school. the band was phenomenal, i really enjoyed it, in spite of being completely exhausted and ready to pass out. i went in to work today in spite of having my shift cancelled, because they called and left a message on the house phone, which of course i never get. i don't know why they do that when they have my cell. but anyway i was running late and ran into the back room out of breath, only to be told i didn't need to be there. "but since you're here anyway...." matteo said, i could work. and then it was supposed to be a two hour shift but they wound up keeping my full one. so yay money.

my eyes are sooo dry. sleep soon
