BTW... I'm 23!

I guess it's about time I update everyone on what I have been doing the past few weeks: (sorry it's long, but a good read)

- I went to the Foozer concert w/ Kel a few weeks ago. It is now considered to be the most amazing concert I have ever experienced, and that says a lot since I have been to a ridiculous amount. Hot Hot Heat opened and they were pretty good, we definitely rocked out to "Bandages". Weezer was awesome, they played like everything!! The crowd was definitely more mellow and feeling the music during their performance. During the Foo Fighters the crowd went crazy. We were in General Admission in as Dave Grohl called it "the fuckin NJ Super Duper Dome!" Dave Grohl is awesome, he played the drums... he's just sooo talented, I was in awe. I definitely got beat up during that performance... and now 3 weeks later I still have a scar on my leg, from where I do not know. All I know is the security guard had to ask me if I was ok.

- The weekend before my birthday my friends from work all decided to take me out for dinner (just the girls) and then we later met everyone else out at a bar in Nyack. That was really sweet of them, cause sometimes I forget that I do have friends from home cause I'm constantly talking about how I don't want to be here. They make me realize that being here isn’t that bad... but only for a short time cause I always go back to feeling eh.

- Life&Style magazine invited me to their Masquerade party at Marquee. So we all went, it wasn't like a typical magazine party. There were wayyy too many people, and we didn't feel like VIP like we usually do since we stood outside in the Maple Syrup NYC air for an hour waiting to get in eventhough we were on the list. John Secada performed (90s Pop Singer), I took a picture with him... and the Gastineau Girls were there too. I got a ton of free stuff, I still need to go through the bags. We didn’t stay long since we were dragging free stuff through tons of people and that got annoying.

I took off Friday, Monday, and Tuesday because of my bday. Even if I didn't do anything, I did not want to work! Friday I went to Oz and it was Alvin's Super Sweet 22!! We took a limo buss to Armory Square in Syracuse, I definitely drank way too much strawberry champagne, and some random guy gave us roses... I broke mine while dancing. Saturday was pretty chill... Candice and I went to the Carousel Mall and I bought this scarf thing for my hair, don't ask but it's cool and I look cool wearing it. That night we were all pretty tired since we didn't get home until 4:30am on Friday, so we just sorta hung out and went to a few bars and watched some funny drunk people in costumes. The 80's Hip Hop Dancers were the best! I headed home Sunday and just relaxed and caught up on some sleep.

** Monday - My 23rd Birthday!! I celebrated it as Halloween though. Yeah, totally went against my beliefs of "It's my birthday, screw the stupid holiday!" But I had awesome plans for Halloween and I've never done something like this before. Me, Jackie, and Tara all planned to dress up as Cheerleaders, Pat as our Referee, and we were going to go walk in the NYC Village Halloween Parade!! I got partially ready at my house and OMG it was scary, I totally looked the part. After a long walk from Hoboken to the train to the apartment in the Village, we were finally ready to hit up 6th Avenue! Wow it was crazy down there, people get really creative with their costumes. Tara was our Swedish cheerleader "I come to America to CHEER!" hehe. The four of us were totally obnoxious the entire time. Little girls loves our costume and we kept being mistaken for the girls from Bring It On. So we went with it, "Brrr it's cold in here..." I don't think I've ever walked that much in one day. We went and chilled at a bar for a little while, but it was a brewery so I didn't like their weird beer. The walk back to the apartment to get my stuff was almost as intereting as the Parade, we got yelled and beeped out... I don't appreciate sexual harassment. Then I headed back to Hoboken to get my car and went home. We totally got on the news, I think, I dunno there were cameras and we were jumping around in front of them like crazy, we really got into it. But I think next year we'll have to be a little more creative with our costumes.

Today... I have that feeling I used to get in college after a night of binge drinking. I feel weak, I can't stop shaking, and my entire body aches. No I am not hung over, I'm not sure what is wrong with me anymore.

Anyway, a great October! Thanks to everyone cause I had a pretty good time. Hopefully pictures to follow, I might start up my webshots again.
