Chapter 5
It was now lunch, another time Dan hated the most. it was a time when Renee was with Tanner, when she hardly paid attention to him at all. he liked it when they were parolling together. She always listened to him then, smiling at him with that sweet smile and talking to him with her smooth, warm voice. But he hated lunch.
at lunch and in classes was when he thought of Renee the most. He always enjoyed visualizing what it might be like if she were his, if he put one memory in her head to make her like him, but reality always took over. he know it could hurt her more than anything if he did that to her, but that didnt stop him from thinking it.
once he did tell her his feelings for her. he erased the memory, but her reaction was one he will never forget. her sweet face turned into one of suprise when he told her he longed to make her his. he had asked her if she ever thought what it would be like if they were together but her responce was a meer laugh. she told him they could never truly be because he was dead, and she was not. he simply replied saying, I can change that. she was scared, horrified really, saying things like, "You're joking, right?"
but that had happened years ago, and she didnt even remember it happening. he wished he had hypmotized her, put her in a trance or something. Anything to make her his.
"Hey Dan!" Renees voice releced him from these visions of disire.
"what?" he replied
"So what time do you want to meet tonight? Ninish maybe?" Renee asked, her face innocent and sweet.
"Yeah, whatever." Dan said in a monotone type or way.
"Whats wrong? You've been acting weird all day?" Renee asked with a hint of concern in her voice.
"Nothing, dont worry about it, Sweety. See you at nine." He said as the bell rang in the distance.
"Ok, see ya then!" Renee said turning and running after tanner and the others.
"K, bye" Dan whispered into the wind. with that he turned, walking the opposite direction in which Renee just ran.
