OH MY GOD!
Holy crap!! For some unknown reason we got to talking about the movie Hostel in my English class and my teacher started talking about how weird America is when it comes to what it thinks people should be aloud to see. Violence gets you PG-13, Violence and/or cursing gets you R, and Sex gets you NC-17.
During this discussion he brought up the fact that his friends in high school back in the 80s would watch these movies called "Faces of Death" which were just a collection of footage of real people dying real deaths (with a few animal deaths thrown in). I went home and mentioned it to my parents and people at work and apperantly everybody has heard about these expect me. I was pretty disgusted by the idea, but a very very small part of me (the sick part) and the urge to see where I could rent it. I am ignoring that part of me and am refusing to see it.
Am I the only one who hasn't heard of these? Has anybody actually watch one?
