Le Tour
Ok, just got back from warped tour. I knocked out the whole way back. Adrian made us leave like twenty minutes early, but whatever.
I was like Mrs.SkinCancerAwareness the whole tour. I was applying sunscreen every 15-20 minutes and making sure everyone else had a good supply of it as well. I got a funky tan/slight burn on my back anyway... but hey,it beats the lobster shade I was last year, and the full, snake-like shedding that occurred after. My face is still white as ever, but unfortunately so are my legs, which defeated the whole purpose of me wearing shorts and not putting sunscreen on my legs.
It was fun seeing everyone. I spent much of the day with Brandon, cool guy, cool guy. Very funny.
I'm sure that I'm going to have tons of people that don't agree with this, but I think that the vandals put up the best show. I'm not just saying it because I've been into them the longest either. Maybe they didn't do cool stunts, like hanging off the overhead bar, but I was loving the vibes coming from them. They were just soo positive. The singer seemed so genuinely happy to be there and it rubbed off. I was soo pumped after that.
Highlight of the night: getting hit on my The Vandals.
Just passing by, I saw them signing. It was a pretty short line, so I decided to wait. While I was getting their autograph, I told Dave haw awesome he was, and how he totally made my day. Then Warren was like, "Hey! What's up. Oh, you're like 14, but in three years you're gonna be HOT! You already have a good start. Look at those nice deep eyes, blah, blah...Damn, if you were three years older I would take you back with me so you could get discovered and have a modeling career."
They made people who wanted pictures wait 'til they came out. So about five minutes later, I was next to get my picture. As soon as I walk up, they're both like, "HEY! SUPERMODEL! What's up! yay, she's back. Come on." We take the picture, and as I'm walking off. "Come back, man." Warren: "In three years I'm gonna knock you up!"
Okay, so the first and last lines were horrible, but I'm choosing to ignore that... I GOT HIT ON BY THE VANDALS! Oh yeah!
