I studied criminal justice and journalism in college. For that reason, I often studied and researched the high profile cases, like Columbine and JonBenet Ramsey. I'm glad that after ten years we may know what happened and that justice can be served. Though they have this man in custody, there are still so many holes in this case that we may never fill.
I'm just sorry her mother isn't alive to see this. I'm glad that she knew prior to her death that a suspect was being investigated and an arrest was coming. I hate what happened to this child- I've read the case file and know the gruesome details. And reading that file turned my stomach. I can't stand anyone who is sick enough to do things like this to children. I think anyone who does should have the ever-loving 'you-know-what' beaten out of them.
I hope they've caught the right guy. I watched his interview and the man made my skin crawl.
The Ramsey family is in my prayers for what they've been through. Like most people, I did suspect them. But when the DNA evidence was discovered, I started to think it wasn't them. No one wants to believe parents are capable of doing that to their children and I hope they didn't. I have issues with painting a 6 year old up to look like she's 20. That being said, it's entirely feasible that some pedophile saw her and 'had to have her.' It makes me sick.
I just want to know what happened. Did you know if JonBenet were still alive, she'd be 16?
