1. friend in real life = friend on livejournal, but also i wanted to be able to keep in touch with you somehow after you left auburn. i knew you were going to move back to mississippi and i didn't want that to hinder our getting to chat every once in awhile.
2. either the birthday suit or clint eastwood pictures. i feel those are both quintisentially you.
3. i like that you are so loyal to the family business. i think that takes a special kind of person to go to school for one thing, but professionaly do something completely different because that's what your family has. i don't think i could do it.
4. i remember you always starting and usually winning the wrestling matches on the hill by the dorm. wasn't there a belt even?
5. do you ever get a scared feeling about your new baby on the way?
6. spidey with the fro of course.
7. you went before i did so no need to worry about this one.

3. Growing up, I never wanted to do what my dad did. I didn't even want to own my own business. So going to college that wasn't even on my mind. But when I got to be about a junior, I decided that I didn't want to do civil engineering (although I liked studying it). I looked around at other stuff and even thought about the Navy briefly. That's when I thought that I'd give working for my dad a try. I've liked it a lot.

4. There was a belt. Some kind of kid's foam toy I think.

5. Yes. Actually, most of the time it's not in my mind at all. To Carrie the issue is constantly present (for obvious reasons), but I can forget about it for hours at a time. Then it will hit me all of a sudden. It is a little scary thinking about being totally responsible for another human being and all the costs and sacrifices that will go along with that (I don't like clutter and noise, I like sleep, and so on). But it's so amazingly exciting that the good far outweighs the bad.
