reflection
Wow....it's been four years. Seems a little odd and surreal. I am graduating in ten days. Ten days. I am so far from where I was four years ago, and what's more is that I am so far from where I thought I would be. I am pretty happy here though. I'm engaged to an amazing guy, and he's moving in soon! I am surrounded by good friends, had a great year with my roommates Deb and Sarah. I have an internship in the Brookline Schools next year, student teaching. I turned in my thesis-32 pages. I am still working at Operation PEACE-I think we're at 4 years soon- and still love working there, and still love working with the kids. My neice Caytlin is as cute as ever, and my sister in law is expecting her second child in June. Yeah, I think I am pretty happy where I ended up. It's been a journey.
On another note....
Last night, I had my voice lesson recital. It was a small thing, just for Sahar's students, but it was fun and nerve wrecking, but it went well and it was cool to hear other people sing and make progress. It reminds me how much I love singing, and how even though I don't always work as hard at it as I should, I will still always love singing.
