Summary: Loosely based on Grimm’s Cinderella. Once upon a time, a merchant’s wife gave birth to a little boy named Castiel, who was perfect in all ways, right down to the beautiful black wings sprouting out of his back. However, in a country still fighting the phobia of human-to-animal shapeshifters, not everyone agrees, and when his mother dies, Castiel is left at the hands of his stepfather Zachariah, who doesn’t condone non-human traits despite being part-bird himself. And then there’s Dean, the only friend Castiel has in the world, who thinks Castiel’s wings are awesome, but is hiding a few problems of his own.
Let me just say my pictures doesn't do this fic half the justice it deserves. This is simply a wonderful story and if you're looking over my silly pictures, you need to do yourself a favor and read the fic. Right now.
I must have drawn the scenes with Cas and Dean first flying up in the air ten thousand times. This version was probably my favorite just because of their expressions.
This isn't from a particular scene in general, but I loved the image of Castiel just sitting with the doves and letting them help clean and straighten his feathers. It's just kind of the most adorable thing ever.

The wings may not look exact, but that's because I was just doing a rough drawing so I could practice with my sepia brush marker.
HAHAHAHAH I DON'T KNOW WHY DEAN LOOKS LIKE SUCH A CREEPER ON THE TOP LEFT PLEASE FORGIVE ME. The bottom left is from a scene in the story where the boys get caught in the rain and I was like, "omg wet hairstyles!" That little bottom Cas? FOREVER MY FAVORITE. In fact, have this close up of it I love it so much.
