I'm thankful for my friends.
I'm thankful for everyone on LJ. I'm thankful for the laughter that makes me double over when I read my flist. I'm thankful for all the humor (however crack-filled it may be) that I get from it. I'm thankful for having people in my life (online and real life) that love the same things I do and are not afraid to talk about it.
I'm thankful for the people who obsess with me.
I'm thankful for the music I have that makes me ecstatic when I am happy and depressed when I'm sad. I'm thankful for the music that follows my mood. From pop to rock to jazz to techno, I'm thankful for it all.
I'm thankful for those who still write.
I'm thankful for my family. I'm thankful for the fact that they will love me, despite the huge mistakes I have made and will make throughout my life. I'm thankful for their unconditional love. I'm thankful for being able to love them back.
I'm thankful for having a home, whereever it may be.
I'm thankful for sleepovers. Thankful for late-night drives where deep conversations are held about the drama that went on last week, thankful for road trips where we blare the music and sing as loudly as we can, despite the fact that we may not be able to sing. I'm thankful for random text messages that make my day, and after midnight phone-calls about everything and anything.
I'm thankful for inspirations.
Thankful for my abilities, whatever I think they are and whatever others think they could be. I'm thankful for my favorite novels, thankful to read them over and over again and being able to cry and laugh along with my favorite parts.
I'm thankful for falling in love.
I'm thankful for the memories, thankful for the nostaglia. Thankful for the many files saved under crazy names, thankful for the pictures done in MS Paint to cheer me up. I'm thankful for all the pictures taken in the best of times, and I'm thankful for being reminded of the worst of times.
I'm thankful for hope.
