(no subject)
Time for my once a week update....hehe
Well....as some of you may know...Evan is at basketball camp this week, but will be back tomorrow...
We had a little scare last night, tho...
Evan usually calls about 11:20 every night, when camp is over, but last night I went down to the Chruch with mom and he told me to call him. So about 11:30 I called, but got his voice mail..I didn't think much about it, I just firgured maybe they had to stay late or something. But when I talked to my dad a few minutes later, he said that Donna had called and left a message for me...he said he wasn't sure what it was about, but told me to call her. By this time it was about 12, and I was a little hesitant to call, but got a little worried and called. Donna said that he had got hurt and told her to call me. He fell and cut his chin open and had to be taken to the hospital. So ,of course, by this time I'm talking to his mom with tears running down my face. She said that he would call me when he got in. We left the Church and came home to wait on his call. He ended up calling about 1:30 this morning. He has five stitches...but says he's fine! He called back this morning and said that he was in a little more pain, but was gonna still do all the drills and stuff with them...thats Evan for ya!! God Love his heart, he tried to convince them that with a little tape , he'd be fine and save them a trip to the hospital. But since the boys are down there by themselves, one of the other coaches had to take him.
Anyway, b-ball camp will be over tomorrow...and needless to say...I'll be glad to have him back home!!
On to a brighter note...well I suppose...the cheerleaders have been conditioning with the volleyball and cross-country girls this week. At first I wasn't too sure about the idea...but now I'm glad we're doing it. We've been lifting and running a few times a week.
I was supposed to go to work today, but I changed my mind. I'm gonna go tomorrow, and then go to cheerleading practice.
O...and I got another VERA yesterday...It's the Burmuda Blue large duffle. I'm gonna take it to cheerleading camp with me!!
