Good Deed of the Year - Done.
After work today, I went to a bar with 3 of my co-workers. We had so much fun, we're going to make it a weekly thing. One of them was cracking me up - she's 30, divorced, a 1st grade teacher, but once you get her out of camp, she's all, "That shit was SLAMMIN'!" and "The mothafuckin'...." I was DYING! lol
Afterwards, since I was kinda buzzed and I realized where I was, I decided to go my good deed of the year - I visited the grandparents voluntarily by myself. To say they were shocked is an understatement. I stayed for about a half hour, got dinner and coffee out of it, and $20. Plus, I won't get a guilt trip about visiting when Grandma calls next time. :)
You would think that would give me some kind of good karma or whatever, but I got pulled over for speeding on the way home! 40 in a 25, which almost seems normal to me. Thank GOD I only got a warning! I really need to start slowing down while driving. :/
