The past two nights have been very special indeed. I had pretty much given up hope that the atmosphere at Cloud Nine could not be restored...yet it happened twice for a brief passing moment. Friday night, after the main group quieted down and went their own ways was a prime example of what Cloud Nine is all about.
Jesus and I began the festivities by smoking a bowl...the beginning of a very interesting and eventful night. Nicci and Missy joined in on the second through fourth bowls. Missy was a little down so I let her take some of the gasoline (Burnett's Sour Apple Vodka) and Sour Apple Pucker and mix it with Mountain Dew. Of course a Missy mixed drink has alot of alcohol in it :P A few of us also drank some of the finest product (Johnnie Walker Black in my eyes) of the 3 brothers (Jim, Jack, and Johnnie).
The bowl was continuously reloaded several times through the night. Missy then took it upon herself to cook hot dogs in the microwave as a way to fight off those uncontrollable munchies. Chef Missy and her ever-so trusting assistant Nicci managed to create the moment of the night. While Missy was draining the juices from the wieners, one fell out of the package and dropped into a cup of what looked like Coca Cola and other unmentionable stuff. Then she attempted to pick up a ketchup bottle...yet it rifled out of her hand at light speed across the kitchen. If that wasn't bad enough she tried to open an already opened mustard jar. Then there was the issue of the silverware drawer. Someone obviously did not notify either one that the drawer does not require much effort to open and close...which resulted in Missy opening it with such force that knives went flying and Nicci slamming it shut so hard the front plate broke off. Since this was abuse the Missy night Jesus and I began making several remarks (loaded with sexual overtones and innuendo) about Missy's wiener handling skills. Rule of thumb kiddies: Do NOT let a stoned Missy and Nicci take over your kitchen or you will be contacting your insurance agent to get a quote on the destruction they caused.
Shortly after Missy's mishap Drake and Ritchie returned from Jessica's party and bowls were constantly being smoked and repacked. A Cloud Nine record of a total of 20 bowls and a joint were had that night. Even to Ritchie's amazement as calls were made to reload the bowl (he couldn't believe we were doing this). Even the Orange Thing was blown out of his mind. It was a night of fun and laughter...a small group of people together for a bit to forget their worries, fears and angers...all getting along with no drama or fighting...This is how Cloud Nine can be and should be.
Saturday was much more mellow in the aspect that Missy didn't play with any wieners...so there was no real standout moment of the night. Missy squashed the Squishy. Juan, Jesus and I made close friends with Johnnie and Jack before Drake, Brian and Sir Nick went to City Club. After they left the smoking began... and it was good. Jesus was so stoned he felt like he was having a seizure
and I could barely keep my eyes open due to lack of sleep. Once again the mood was calm and relaxed and more proof that Cloud Nine can be and is "The Happiest Place on Earth"
